Philippe Graffin

2011/12 Highlights

SUCCESS IN PARIS & LONDON
Graffin's appearances in his native Paris are rare, but last season he gave two special concerts with Gary Hoffmann and Claire Désert. Reviewers present at Salle Gaveau were ecstatic: "Une soirée tout en contraste, placée sous le signe d'une musicalité hors pair" (La Lettre du Musician);
In Wigmore Hall's Master Series, Philippe invited colleagues Truls Mork, Steven Kovacevich, Chen Halevi, Juliette Hurel & Claire Desert to play with him in a celebration concert. "Brilliant violin playing: gutsy, full toned, stylish, passionate and so clear in intent and effect." Capricciomusic blog

Philippe Graffin is Founder & Artistic Director of Consonances de Saint-Nazaire
and Guest Professor at the Royal Conservatorium Brussels
